BAR sponsors a variety of events including the annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Community Breakfast, community events, art exhibits, and programs on issues relating to diversity. BAR has funded anti-racism training for teachers through the EMI program; has supported the METCO programs, and the purchase of books and new materials for the schools and town library; has co-sponsored educational programs with community groups; and has been involved with Belmont Neighbor's Network, a subcommittee of the town's Vision 21 Implementation Committee.
